While I know that the above village is not in Germany, I thought that
someone may be able to help me find a location shown on my grandfather's
passport. He was of Germanic descent but born in Southern Russia. The
location is the village of Paranovka and the admin center was Bachmoutsk, in
the Ekaterinoslav oblast. This is the phonetic spelling of the words written
in Russian.
