Click on the english flag for english presentation. When you get to the
list of occupations and click on one, you will see a very nice
illustration plus the occupation in several languages. Can anyone
provide a translation of the ?poem? in ?dutch? that is also on the page?
I have german ancestor from Westpreussen (now Poland) who was trained as
tailor-name of Kley...illustration says de Kleermaaker...and I never
find Kley but I see ten Kley frequently. interesting...
It took me a few tries to decide whether my wagonwheel maker from
Hessen-Kassel was a cooper or carpenter or "coachbuilder"--picture of
coachbuilder was building a wheel :-)
