I did not participate and I did not vote for the creation or otherwise of
the (this) group.
If the original request for the creation of the group specifies (proposes)
that only the English and Italian languages are to be used in the news group
than strictly speaking you are correct.
However, if the newsgroup was created, to create a forum to discuss Italian
genealogy and to assist those who have or believe that they have some
Italian blood in their genealogy, than you are not correct.
Italian Genealogy does not in any way imply that Italian Language is the
only language. Italian genealogy does not exclude "German", "French", or
"Greek". as these three languages are spoken languages in Italy.
I have to read the original proposal.
