Hi Dawn,
Stapelburg is in the state of Sachsen-Anhalt, just a few hundred yards east
of the border from Niedersachsen. The 'Ecker' is a creek that here marks the
border between Niedersachsen and Sachsen-Anhalt.

You bet that 'Eckermuehle' was a watermill on the Ecker, just a few steps
west of Stapelburg. If I may take a guess, I would put it where modern maps
mark 'Muna-Siedlung'
