The german telephone directory (http://www.telefonbuch.de) mentinones the
name Noelle or Nlle in the few larger cities I checked.
The german pronounciation would be in two syllables N-lle, with N sounding
like the start of NU-mber (with the stress); the sounds is the final
syllable are 1st the "l" and finally a dumb "e".
