Could it be Pödeldorf? Note that there is no "s" in this place name. Meyers
(pub. in 1912) describes this as a village in Oberfranken, Bavaria,
District of Bamburg; had a civil registration office;post office was at
Litzendorf, train station 4.2 km away at Drosendorf; population 393.
