The RootWeb site also has a classified ad area. Some of my newsletter
subscriptions come from my ad there. Also, could you tell me how to look
into this Genealogical Helper you mention?

I think I've sold more copies of family history-type books with a small ad
in GENEALOGICAL HELPER than anywhere else. For volumes of courthouse
documents, etc, I do up a flyer and buy a couple sheets of stamps, since the
purchasers are most likely to be libraries and historical societies with
collections.
