Hi All,
After a break of seven years (when we've been partners with Sheffield & District FHS) Rotherham Family History Society is reforming
as an independent society.
The first meeting takes place at Eastwood Mission Church, St. Ann's Road, Rotherham at 7.00pm on Thursday 2nd November 2000. No
Guest Speakers have been invited for this first meeting, instead existing members have been invited to give short talks about their
Family History research. Visitors and prospective new members are always welcome to attend Society meetings and see what we have
to offer.
The new Society Journal, "A Bridge In Time" will be published in time for the Inaugural Meeting, so members can collect their copy
on the night. Sorry, more distant members will have to wait until it's mailed out until they can read their copy.
N.B. There's no surcharge for Overseas members - everyone pays the same !!! So welcome to all you Rotherham ex-Pats. Take a look
at our website to bring back some Rotherham memories.
Bye for now.
