Hi listers

Those of you who live within Oxford and are therefore able to receive Channel
Six - "The Oxford Channel" - on television should note that this Thursday
will see a special programme about family history on the channel. This will
feature studio guests Becky Vickers and Julie Kennedy, chairman and secretary
respectively of this society, who will be talking about family history in general,
and the activities and resources of this society in particular.

Becky and Julie will feature on the channel's flagship teatime programme
"6life", which is broadcast from 18.00 to 19.00 hours GMT. The programme is then
repeated later in the evening. I'm sure that they will delight the audience
with their vast knowledge of genealogy, which as usual will be put over in their
friendly and chatty style - a bit like having a family historian around whilst
you eat your tea !

Watch it if you can !
