Subject: [GEN-EVENTS] PSIG meeting on Sunday, April 15

The Pommeranian Special Interest Group's speaker will be Dr. Eldon Knuth, a member of several genealogy groups. His "Internet for Genealogy" talk will focus on links that contain data of interest to those searching for German ancestors. His people emigrated from Mecklenburg, Niedersachsen, Rheinland-Pfalz, and Saarland, as well as from Vorpommern. Material downloaded from his homepage collection will be available for examination but he promises to distribute a list of selected internet addresses that should be helpful in our searches.

The meeting will start at 2pm and once again we're indebted to the Immigrant Genealogical Society for the use of both their program and their facilities. The IGS library is located at 1310 W. Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank, California. Please join us for refreshments after Dr. Knuth's presentation (what would you like to bring to share?) and feel free to use our library resources.
