The Alabama Genealogical Society Annual Spring Seminar will be held at Dwight Beeson Business Building, Samford Univeristy, Birmingham, Alabama, 8:30 am - 4 pm. Lloyd Bockstruck, of the Dallas Public Library, will present "The Grass is Always Greener: The Movement of Our Southern Ancestors". His topics are: "Settlement Patterns and Principles of Migration", "The French and Spanish Experience", "Federal Land Sales" and "The South in the 19th Century". The cost is $30.00 per person.
