Following a short meeting amongst the current membership, our Society's
Genealogist, Fred Hart, will present an overview and interesting
examples of the migrations back and forth across the Sound. Many
individuals and sometimes whole communities took this route (much easier
than the wagon train), beginning in the 17th century.
