Subject: Help FInd Olinville France

The Olin family takes its name from the estate and manor of OLINVILLE,
hamlet of the parish of Bruyere de Chastel in the canton of Arpajon.
From the year 1200 an Olin is found as lord of OLINVILLE. The estate of
OLINVILLE passed on the distaff side to Benoist Milon, President of the
Chamber of Accounts, who sold it to King Henry III.

Can anyone in France help me identify exactly where OLINVILLE is (or
was)? Also, I'd like to pursue the history in detail. Could someone
tell me how that might be done?

Around 1699, Jeanne OLIN, widow of Jean Chefdeville, Bourgeoeis of Paris,
registered the Olin family Coat-of-Arms with Charles d'Hozier in the
Armorial General of France. Supposedly, based on research in 1914,
records of the Coat-of-Arms and Olin family pedigrees are in records at
the Bibliotheque Nationale de France. Could anyone reading this be able
to assist with research to find that information, or suggest alternatives?

Regards;
Gary
