This system works very well, although it seems to give a sampling
of available numbers if there are more than 20 pages of listings for
people with the same surname; remember to try individual towns once it
has been established a number of people with that name live there.
And delete any lines not filled in--that works best for me.

What I need now is a listing of the Department codes (ie. Bas-Rhin = 67,
Moselle = 57, the first two digits of the respective postal codes).
Where might one be found? Is it posted somewhere? Thanks for your help.
