ENTRY IN 1994 EDITION - GENEALOGY RESEARCH DIRECTORY
"LANGLOIS" FAMILY NAME

I am writing to you in the hope you may be able to help me.

My mother-in-Law has a neighbour by the name of Daphne
Langlois whose father, John, has expressed an interest in
obtaining a copy of your family history.

John is about 6'5" tall and is nearly blind and Daphne has
been looking after John for quite a number of years. John
had a wife by the name of Beryl, but unfortunately she
passed away a few years ago - just after my husband and I
got married.

I though it would be a lovely surprise for both Daphne and
her father John, to see a copy of the LANGLOIS family
history and to see if they are related to your family.
Unfortunately I do not known much about John and Daphne, or
even where they came from.

I would be willing to cover your photocopy costs and
postage etc or perhaps I could carry out some research for
you here in New Zealand. I am going to Wellington on 3
October for a week. Perhaps I could do something then.

I am trying to do this as a surprise for Daphne and John
as when my husband and I got married both John, Beryl and
Daphne were so kind to us with gifts and help and I feel
it would be our way of saving "Thank you".

I enclose a self addressed envelope and some International
Reply Paid coupons for the return postage, in hope you
may be able to oblige.

I look forward to hearing from you with interest and hope
that this letter finds you fit and well.
