The family name is now Miller but the origines are french. Would the
name have been Meunier simply translated into english, or is there some
other french name that needs little "anglofying" to become Miller?
Please help. Jeremiah Miller came in to the US by way of Canada and
settled in Potsdam, NY, abt. 1850-70. At some point he changed his name
to Miller but we can't find out where or when.

Does anyone have suggestions on the name change or poss. know anything
about this man. -Thanks
