Hi Ron,

Since 8 years, I am in Washington DC, away from my French base/roots.
I got interested in genealogy only since I left France. I learn the little I
know by trying during vacation time to dig for more and more ancestors.

Anyway, if it were me I would write a letter to :

Archives Historiques de la Marine
Ministere de la Guerre
rue Saint-Dominique
75007 PARIS
France

or/and

Archives Historiques de la Marine
Ministere de la Marine
Place de la Concorde
75000 PARIS
France

I do not know about those departments/Archives, but the Ministeries are
there. The mail SHALL be transmitted.

If you need translation of a letter and do not know anybody who could help,
I would.

Good luck in your research.
