I try to add anyone who is connected to any of my lines into my family
tree. So far, I'm up to 14,000 names, with a book of 300 pages
waiting to get typed in. Most of my lines had settled in the area I
now live (Indiana) by 1820. Since marriages occured mostly among
neighbors, I find it interesting to see how many different ways all of
us are related. My cousin married his cousin. Their daughter married
a relative of mine last year, and are expecting a baby. According to
FTM kinship report, I'll be related to that baby 9 different ways, at
least.

My husband and I are fourth and fifth cousins through our Hunter line.
As a matter-of-fact, almost everyone that attends our church is
related through that same line somehow. The church was begun by
another of his lines.

All of the families that have been here in Heltonville for several
generations are related. I can't wait until my kids get old enough to
date. We'll have to move far, far away to find someone for them to
marry. <G>
