Subject: PARIS CENSUS: Evangeline Claire Tomlinson
Date: Sat, 2 Nov 1996 09:48:48 -0800
Evangeline Claire Tomlinson, was born to Samuel James Tomlinson and his
wife Abigail (Gange) Tomlinson, in Paris, about? 1860. Do not know if she
came to America with paents of her first husband, a Mr. MacPherson. In
1895 she marries H.J. O'Neill. In about 1900 she took several hundred
thousands of dollars worth of goods (bankrupting her husband's business)
and returned to Paris. She was then, Mrs. Evangeline Claire O'Neill. Wife
of H.J. O'Neill, known in the American grain business as, The Barley King.
I have never delved into searching internationally census records, do they
exist for Paris?. Any help here?? I'd like to find her birth year and
establish that she did return to Paris in about 1899. Thanks.
