Hi All--

I may be wrong but it was my understanding that this list was intended
for those who speak English only but have ancestors who are were French
particularly French Canadian. As I understand it, the other French list
is for French speaking people only.
There seems to be an awful lot of messages in French on this list. I read
French laboriously with a dictionary and it sure makes it difficult
sometimes. So, even thoough some of the messages appear interesting I end
up deleting because of the language hassle. Sometimes I know I am missing
some good data because of this.
I, for one, would appreciate those who want to send a message in French
on this list to also include an English translation just below it. That
way they would reach everyone and everyone would be happy.
I suppose I will get some reaction to this but I feel it had to be said.
