I am interested in learning more about an ancestor, Romain deTrepagny
or Trepannier, from Normandy, who married Genevieve Drouin in 1656 at
Quebec and died in 1702 at Chateau-Richer. Laforest says he was a
farmer and ran a lumber yard and apparently he was a litigious
character, being often in court against his neighbors.

Are there some interesting stories about him and what disputes he was
involved in?
