Where is the town of Artel, in the Champagne region of France? (What
department, and/or by what city that is normally located on a map).
The reason that I am asking is because Jean-Baptiste Champagne of Louisiana
(m. 1745 Madeleine Challier) is supposed to have come from there. Thanks.
