In "Memoires de la societe genealogique Canadienne-Francaise", volume #
207, page 77, this is what is given as an answer to the same question,
without other references:

Joseph Arsenault is son of Abraham Arsenault Pierre & Marie Savoie
Marie Richard is daughter of Paul Richard Alexandre & Marie Boudrot.
