Hello, My name is Ruth Taylor from PA, USA

I am looking for anyone who might be researching the Acher name
in the area of Puivert, France
or anywhere else in France.
My eldest ancestor found is Raymond Acher born about 1760-1770
married to Marie Rosalie Luat
their son Baptiste Acher born 1797
Baptiste Acher married Anne Gournac
one of their sons:
Baptiste Acher b. 25 September 1837 in Puivert
married to Victorine Josephine Fraissinet
one of their sons (my great grandfather) François Acher 1863 in
Cette, Herault
once married and divorced from Catherine Adélaide Cretton in
1904
François died in Paris 29 September 1927

Francois was a scupltor. Any info on this surname or associated
names is appreciated.
