The Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society (L-AGS) in the San Francisco
Bay Area of California has added over 6,000 name-locality-date entries
to its free online surname database. The URL is

Our newly-posted database contains 10,103 entries in all. It is in
addition to the full text transcription of local cemeteries containing
10,846 records also available on this site.

The surnames in the database represent a wide spectrum of ethnicities.
Localities span 52 US states and territories, plus 41 foreign countries.
It is indexed four ways: by surname, by locality, by soundexed surname,
and by submitter's name.

Our site is over 99% free of graphics.
