Subject: CALDAR; is this a hispanic name?

Does anyone know what kind of name this is?

My ggrandmother was Mexican (according to death certificate) Louis Mary
DELGADO aka Louis Mary AMADOR, born 28 Aug 1900 in Los Angeles,
California. Her father Luis (Louis) DELGADO was born in Mexico and her
mother Fermina CALDAR was born in Texas.

Why does Louise have a different name like AMADOR?
Could this of been Fermina's mothers name? Can anyone tell me how this works?
