I did not think to send my previous message in English because I was
hoping that someone in Mexico will see it and recognize my family.
However, it is entirely possible that someone in the U.S. might be able
to help me as well so thanks to those of you who suggested that I
"speak" English.

I am looking for information about the family of my husband's
grandfather, Pedro Antonio Ortiz, born 17 Jan 1886, in Zacatecas,
Zacatecas, Mexico, to Lucio Ortiz and Eduvigues Aguilar.

I am also interested in any information about the Belloc family
of Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico. My husband's great grandfather, Onofre
Belloc, was born there sometime before 1872 to Onofre Belloc and
Buenaventura Flores. He was a single, employed adult when his first
child Carmen was born 16 Jul 1890. He did eventually marry her mother
after the birth of the second child Leonor, but before the birth of the
third Rosa. Therefore, he was married sometime between 11 Apr 1892 and
30 Aug 1894 in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico to Lorenza Avila, daughter
of Rumaldo Avila and Crecencia Rosales.
