Subject: Coming soon: new soc.genealogy.surnames.* groups

The vote results have been posted on the soc.genealogy.surnames
reorganization. All 7 groups passed easily, and the proponents of
the proposal thank all who participated in the vote.

We've been told that the messages to create the new groups will go out
on July 15. Look for the groups on your server soon after that time.
It always takes a little while for these things to get started, but we
hope all will work smoothly.

All seven of these groups will have associated mailing lists at
RootsWeb.com in a whole family of SURNAMES-<region>@rootsweb.com lists.
