Hi there!

My name is Mike Morandin. I am 26 years old and a final-year student of
Heidelberg University in Germany. The reason I have written to this
newsgroup is that I am currently writing my dissertation on
"Italo-Americans: Italian immigration to the United States of America"
and
since it has proven rather difficult to obtain sufficient information on

this subject here in Europe I have decided to extend my search to the
internet.

I am desperately looking for Americans of Italian extraction who would
be
willing to fill in a questionnaire about their family background and
their
language skills in Italian. The questionnaire is anonymous and all the
collected data will be treated confidentially. The questionnaire is
