I just found out that one of my uncles received the silver star in the
south pacific during world war II . That and the fact that i think he
was born in 1916 or 1917 in New York is all the information i have on
him. Where do i go from there? My dad cannot supply me with any more
information and no one else in the family knows anything. What do i do
