I have been trying to find origin of name IACONI.
The name was believed changed in US with my grandfather
Giovanni JACONI, b. abt 1889-90.
No clue to where he came from in Italy. Arrived in NYC, in early 1890's at
Ellis Island.
He and his brother Luigi/Louis came without their parents, with another
family, GIACCONE. (GIACCONE, Josephine, Ignatuis, Laura).
Family lived in Brooklyn, (Kings County?, NY).

Any Look up - Anything you can share - would be very appreciated.
