Many of us in southern Louisiana have an immigrant ancestor Gian Gradenigo
who came to the Gulf Coast in the 1760's and married a rich French girl. He
was born in Venice about 1735, the son of Antonio Gradenigo and Maria
Bettio, according to one account. Other information gives his parents as
Pietro Gradenigo and Daria Soranzo. We are really curious to find out about
his ancestry.
