My great grandmother was Maria Concetta Caliti. She married Nicola Napolitano.
My grandfather, Carl(o), was born of this marriage. He arrived in America
with his mother and sister on the Tartar Prince on August 7, 1901. My
grandfather's birth certificate is from Marigliano but the ship's manifest says
they came from Mariglianella (a different town, not an alternate spelling). If
anyone has any information on the Calitis or Napolitan(o)s they wish to share
it would be most welcome.
