Subject: Wow! Next they'll require we present the body to obtain a birth certificate! How did the Mormons do it so easily?

Dear Massimo Brignolo,
You are an angel! Thank you so much! Relatives in Lanciano, relatives
in another town (MND) and I have been communicating to that office
since july. None of us ever got to first base with that office!!
You did it! You're wonderful.
Typical though, that they ask for a fax and request $3. Even more
typical, that they forgot to give their fax number for the fax they
require.
How did the Mormons in 1979, 80 & 1981, go through the entire country
and copy all docs available? How many copies of documents did the
Mormons obtain without the signature of direct descendant? One
million, perhaps?
That office now requires permission of a direct descendant to obtain a
birth certificate! I stressed with that office in both languages that
the certificate was never necessary--I wanted just the parents' names
and ages at birth of daughter so we could continue building the family
tree in the main office which houses the docs back to 1800. That one
small office is a real bottleneck! They're holding on to docs that are
very rarely needed. Maybe, that's why. Everything else is in the main
office. They are so uneasy to work with, I think I'll be contacting
them once a millenium!
Once again, thanks (and please email me the fax number),
They are outrageous! You are wonderful!
