The book "The Godfather" was a fictional book about a crime family. The
name Corleone if you read the book or saw the movie tells how the boy who
left Sicily and journeyed to Ellis Island in New York was give the name.
The Immigration officials saw the tag showing that the boy came from
Corleone, Sicily and recorded the name as his family name. So started the
fictional story and a profitable movie for the author and the film director.
