Subject: Pace surname DNA study

The Pace surname seems to have originated separately in England and Italy,
and nowhere else in the world. In both cases, Norman origins are indicated.
The Pace Society of America, whose membership so far is composed of Paces of
English descent, has started a DNA study to aid in genealogical research.
We would like to invite our Italian "cousins" to join us. It is quite
possible that some of our "unidentified" Pace lines who believe themselves
to be English may indeed have Italian origins. Also, participating in the
study would help Italian Paces to determine what other Italian Paces they
may be related to. We would be happy to set up a special chart for Italian
Paces.
Details on the DNA study, including information on DNA and how it all works,
can be found at http://pacesociety.org/DNA?
We would also welcome Italian Paces into the Pace Society of America. The
only requirement is to have the surname Pace or be descended from a Pace, of
whatever origin or background. Details at http://pacesociety.org
