Dr, Please believe me, if you go to the google search engine,
specifically the "Advanced Search", and where it says, "Find results
with all of the words:" and on that line type in, "venetian dalmatian
heraldic rules" you will get no less than 32 hits. I do not have time
to explore each of them for you, but I can tell you that to me it
looks like just the information you are looking for. this site:

It appears to discuss what and who was entitled to call himself
Patrician of Venice. It speaks of 'Illyrians"and of an "Imperial
Illyricom that was comprised of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Dalmatia,
Crowatia, Slovenia, Raska and Serbia. There is also mention of The
Regent (vicar) 0f Neapolis (Naples).
I only looked briefly at 3 of the 32 hits, but If you have time and
have not already, I suggest you look more closely here.
The Mormon church has 3,700 libraries (Family History Centers) in over
88 countries. About 100,000 rolls of microfilm are circulated to these
centers each month. It would not surprise me if they have the
informatio you are looking for. If you have not, you should ask. I
don't know where you are in Sweden, and do not know much about the
country, but there are 26 Family History Centers there. Here is a
