Try a research on birth/marriage/death records, as they usually contain
the parents names; go backwards from there.
Example:

> Francesco de David and Luigia Stalabbere and
> Liberale Guiseppe Mezzomo and Bellus Maria Elisabetta.

Find their death records; they usually contain their age of death (if you're
lucky, their parents names or where they were born). Calculate backwards and
find their birth dates and their parents.
Calculate onwards and find their marriage records that usually name their
parents.
