The Abbot families of Andover and Rowley MA. Families of George Abbot of
Andover and George Abbot of
Rowley, Thomas Abbot of Andover and Arthur Abbot of Ipswich and their
descendants. George of Andover has the most prominent and numerous
descendants with nine sons who lived, six of the families of whom are
treated in this extract. George of Rowley, died there 1647, his three sons'
families are traced into the mid 1700's. Thomas of Andover was possibly
related to George of Rowley but it is not proven here. Arthur was
originally of Salem and his son Arthur is traced here but not his son
