Sorry, Rosie, but my numbers 4 through 32 are taken from CP 3:551. No
Ralph died 2 March 1298/9 it was #16 who died shortly before 2 March
1298/99. His son, #8 Ralph was 7 when his father died. No death date is
given for #8. Then #4, his son Ralph d. 1364. CP says
specifically that #2 is great-great-grandson of # 32. I counted it
out, all generations are where they should be: #4 is father; #8 is
grandfather; #16 is greatgrandfather and #32 is great-greatgrandfather,
Please re-read it, I feel that you will find that you are mistaken.
