Subject: Belgian Sources before 1600

Beginning around 1590 it seems that Belgian churchs began to keep systematic
records of births, deaths, and marriages in parish records. I am interested
in what kinds of records other people have had success with in researching
genealogy before 1590. I hope this falls within the mandate of this group.
If not I apologise in advance.
