I was further under the impression that the jury is still out (and not
many alternates left, either, after 1000 years) as to the identity of
the mother of Charles Constantine, who even today I found identified in
random reading as a bastard of Blind Louis by an unknown concubine.
Shucks. That and the bad news about Leo the Wise kind of undermine my
hopes of making the leap back to Pharaonic times. Well, there's still
Adam for me, via Dermot MacMurrough! (Isn't there?)
Any thoughts on Charles Constantine welcome in any case. He and his
whole environment remain a little out of focus for me, and I am seriously
curious about sources for his daughter(s), especially what's her name who
married a Boso.
Thanks.
Bob
