I have never responded to a GEN-MEDIEVAL msg. However, While, I spent twenty
years in the military, including the Vietnam Period. The main purpose of
war is to kill other "folks" for political purposes. Given my study of
military history; I don't know of one that wasn't conducted for that purpose
in history. Medical units had the purpose to get "folks" back into battle.

As you know, the Signal Corps had the purpose to communicate so "folks" could
be more effective in battle. Sorry, I disagree with you; but killing "folks"
is not "fun" nor it should be. As many combat solider's have said: "But there
for the grace of god go I".
