The set was given to me as what seemed an inspired Christmas present a
few years ago, and only when I began investigating it did I realize
that it was not something i would have purchased for myself. After
the initial pedigree charts, all connected and cross-referenced in a
way understandable to anyone who's ever done genealogical research,
the books break into odd lists of descendants of said kings and
queens, in a manner similar to, say, some of the Taschenbuecher only
in that addresses and other information are given, and dissimilar most
of all in that the Taschenbuecher are far easier to navigate through.
I know there is good information in there somewhere but I've had no
end of annoyance trying to figure out the system..... Also, recall
hearing that this set was never completed according to the original
plan, which may account for some confusion if not that which I'm
referring to here.
