Please note that the Plantagenets is a term loosely used with regularity.
It applies to a royal line, but the family did not use "Plantagenet" as a
surname down through *mos* of the early generations. It becomes confusing
when someone refers to "So-and-So Plantagenet" rather than properly to
"So-and-So of Lancaster," for instance. :-)
