I think the above generations are supported by a will, but Mary's
identification as a Hooker is supported only by family tradition of a
descent from a churchman named Hooker.

The above two generations may have existed, but I doubt whether
whether there is much to support them. A connection between this
John Greene and the Thomas Greene below would be extremely
tenuous, with absolutely no support.
