Requesting info on John Gosnold of Otley, Suffolk, England, who lived during
the time of Henry VII. His line descends to Robert Gosnold, of of
Earleshall, co. Suffolk, England, and who d. Oct 1615, and to Adm..
Bartholomew Gosnold, Vice Admiral of the Fleet, commander of the
"Goodspeed," the "Discovery" & the "Sarah Constant", who landed at
Jamestown, VA in the "Goodspeed" in 1607 & died there 22 Aug 1607 of swamp
fever. This Adm. Batholomew Gosnold also discovered Martha's Vineyard in
1602 which he named after one of his daughters.

Any help connecting John Gosnold to these two descendants (Robert Gosnold
was Adm. Bartholomew Gosnold's uncle) would be appreciated. A chart of
Admiral Gosnold's family is located at the VA Historical Society in
Richmond, VA, but I don't have access to it.

TIA,

Jay Garner
