Hello,

whilst going through the proposed descent from the Prophet, I came across a
problem with Teresa Alphonso, daughter of Alphonso VI, K. Castile & Leon -
who was her mother ?

Hull gives her as the daughter of Agnes de Poitou, she was divorced in
1079.

Lines of succession, Table 115 has her as a natural daughter - of Jimena de
Guzman ?

The CD ROM Nobility of the HRE has her as the daughter of Jimena Nunez, the
same as de Guzman ?

It gets worse for the CD, it gives Teresa's husband as Henrique de Portugal
Duque de Vizeu, 4 Mar 1394 - 13 Nov 1460, son of Joao I Rey de Portugal &
Phillipa of Lancaster - a slight generational mismatch. I have the husband
as Henri de Bourgogne, Count of Portugal, son of Henri by Sybille de
Barcelona. Who was she, various genealogies have her as Sybille daughter of
Renaud I, Count of Burgundy - I presume incorrectly.
