Unfortunately, the source I used (*Dictionary of Canadian Place
Names*, by Alan Rayburn, 1997) for this bit of historical detail does
not say whose pet fox it was nor does it say anything about his birth
or death in a barn other than he died "in a barn 5 km to the north [of
Richmond]".
