I presume AR7 stands for Ancestral Roots by Weis, 7th Edition?
In this book the House of Brabant is mentioned in lineage 45,100,
101,113,155,160,161, 165...........where to begin looking?

Line 155 is the main one, generation 26 shows
Henry I, who married Maud of Flanders daughter of Matthew of Alsace
(see also 100-28)

Line 100 generation 28 shows Florent IV Count of Holland married
to Mechtild daughter of Henry I Duke of Brabant by Mathilde, daughter
of Count Matthew of Boulogne.

Not very consistent!

The wife of Henry I/Hendrik I, Duke of Brabant
is usually referred to as Mathilde de Boulogne. Her father, Mathieu d'Alsace
( a younger son of Thierry d'Alsace, Count of Flanders) became through his
marriage Count of Boulogne. His wife (mother of Mathilde) was Marie de
Blois, Countess of Boulogne. This Marie is a daughter of Stephen de Blois,
KIng of England.
